Urgent Charitable Tax Donation Update!! As a part of the CARES Act, taxpayers can deduct up to $300 ($600 per couple) for cash donations given to charity – even if they choose to take the standard deduction instead of itemizing their deductions!
If you are looking for a worthy charity, please consider the Gates Historical Society this holiday season. Established in 1999, we are a 501[c] 3 charitable entity that manages the Hinchey Homestead for the Town of Gates.
Your donation will go a long way towards our next restoration project for 2021! Our plan is to restore our turn of the century barn, which is one of the few remaining barns in Gates. This barn is especially unique for its craftsmanship and use of old railroad box cars in its construction.

Thank you!
