Gates Historical Society

On Mon., June 17, 2019, the Gates Historical Society held its annual meeting and elections of Board members and officers. This year, it was a potluck dinner before the meeting at the Gates Town Hall.

It was also the 20th anniversary of the Gates Historical Society. The following people were elected to the Board - Jack Hinchey, Kris Klein, Terry Mason, and Virginia Paddock. Officers elected were: Susan Swanton as President and Patty Nadiak as Vice- President.

Outgoing Co-Presidents, Virginia Paddock and Susan Swingle were given a certificate of appreciation for resurrecting the GHS in 2017 and presented with a cake from the Town of Gates Historian, Bill Gillette.
